A Journey from Student to Get Placed At TCS
When I was in school, I never imagined that I would be able to get a job at one of the world’s largest technology companies. I always assumed that I would go to college, get a job, and then get a PhD to become a professor. But then I took a programming class my junior year and realized that I loved it. I decided to go all in and apply for TCS’s Summer internship program.
When I was a student, I couldn’t have imagined that one day I will get placed at a top technology company like Tata Consultancy Services, or TCS. But when I graduated from college, I found myself with a lot of job opportunities. I remember being confused and not knowing which path to choose. I was in the dilemma of choosing between getting placed at a large MNC or starting my own business.
Jonas Wijeratne didn’t plan on becoming a software engineer when he was in college. He majored in computer science as an undergrad, but didn’t know much about the tech industry. He figured he’d learn more by working in the field. So he applied to tech jobs, and soon started getting interviews at companies like Amazon and Google.
I’ve been in the software industry for almost a decade, and I’ve worked at a lot of companies. In the beginning, I worked at companies where I trained new hires, and then later I worked at companies where the role was to help new hires become successful. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to become a successful software engineer, and I’ve gained a lot of valuable experience along the way. I’ve also learned a lot about what it takes to become an even more successful software engineer, and I’ve gained even more valuable experience in that pursuit.
I was never a good student. I’d get good grades in school, but I had a hard time sitting still and memorizing things. I wanted to learn; I just needed a system that would keep me engaged. That’s why when I heard about a program called Project Lead the Way (PLTW), I had to apply.
It was during my junior year in college that I decided to major in computer science. I loved programming, and I thought that it would be a great way to combine my love for technology with my passion for education. I wanted to teach computer science to kids, so I figured that getting a degree in computer science would give me the credentials that I would need to do that. I was also interested in business, so I thought that getting a degree in business would give me the knowledge I would need to run a software company one day.
I majored in computer science because I was passionate about programming. PLTW was the first programming class I took as an undergraduate, so I decided to major in computer science because I wanted to learn more about the field. PLTW was a great starting point for new programmers, and it introduced me to the world of software development. I learned how to design programs, write code, and solve problems.
I majored in computer science when I was in college, but I had no idea what I wanted to do with my career. I thought I’d just go to school, get a job, and then get a PhD to become a professor. But then I took a programming class my junior year, and realized that I loved it. I decided to go all in and apply to PLTW’s software engineering program.
I loved learning how to program. So when I heard that I would be learning to program on the job as a software engineer, I was ecstatic. I knew that learning to program would be a great way for me to learn more about the industry. I knew that I would learn so much more from actually working in the software industry than from just being a developer.
My background is in computer science, so I knew PLTW was the right program for me. I’d studied programming before, but I’d never studied software engineering. PLTW would allow me to learn about the industry from the ground up. It would also give me the opportunity to implement my ideas and learn how to take an idea from concept to product.
